Accessibility

Everyone should be able to browse our menu, order a burrito and find a location — on any device, with any assistive technology.

Effective September 10, 2026Applies to the app and the website

1. Our commitment

Santa Fe Burrito Grill is committed to making its website, mobile app and restaurants accessible to people with disabilities, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We treat accessibility as part of quality, not a separate project.

2. Standards

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We test with keyboard-only navigation, screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA), browser zoom up to 200 % and reduced-motion settings.

3. What we’ve built in

  • Semantic headings, landmarks and a “skip to content” link on every page.
  • Full keyboard operation: menus, the location chooser, the item builder (option rows behave as radio buttons and checkboxes) and image carousels all work without a mouse, with visible focus outlines.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative food art is hidden from assistive technology.
  • Color contrast that meets AA on text and controls; status is never conveyed by color alone (open/closed, sold out and required steps are also written out).
  • Animations and the hero motion respect your reduce motion system setting; nothing flashes.
  • Layouts that reflow on phones and at high zoom without horizontal scrolling; touch targets at least 44 px.
  • Live prices, hours and availability are announced through polite live regions when they update.

4. In our restaurants

Our locations offer accessible entrances and seating, and our team is glad to read the menu aloud, describe ingredients and allergens, or take your order at the counter. If a specific location presents a barrier, tell us and we will work to remove it.

5. Feedback & help

If you have trouble using any part of the website or app, or you would like this information in another format, contact us and we will help you complete your order and fix the issue:

We aim to respond within two business days.

6. Ongoing work

Accessibility is reviewed with every release. Known items we are actively improving are listed here as they are found; if you discover one we have missed, we want to hear about it.
